This page explains the legal and practical realities of using EK7. Read it before you deposit money, not after something goes wrong.

1. Nature of the Games

Rummy: Indian courts have repeatedly classified Rummy as a game of skill, distinct from gambling under the Public Gambling Act, 1867 — including the Supreme Court’s reasoning in State of Andhra Pradesh v. K. Satyanarayana and K.R. Lakshmanan v. State of Tamil Nadu. Real-money Rummy operates legally in most Indian states on this basis.

Teen Patti: Teen Patti’s legal position is less settled. It carries a higher chance component than Rummy, which places it closer to games treated as gambling under some state frameworks. EK7 does not represent Teen Patti as having the same skill-game legal protection as Rummy in every state.

2. Age Restriction

EK7 is for players 18 years of age and older. Real-money gameplay must not be attempted by anyone below this age, and EK7 does not knowingly permit it.

3. State Restrictions

Real-money gaming of this kind is currently restricted in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Odisha, Sikkim, and Nagaland. It is the player’s responsibility to know and comply with the law in their own state. EK7 does not guarantee the legality of play in any specific location.

4. Financial Risk

Rummy and Teen Patti on EK7 are played for real money, and real money can be lost. This is the nature of real-money gaming, not a platform error. Do not deposit money needed for essential expenses. EK7 balance is not savings, income, or an investment.

5. No Outcome Guarantee

Card distribution and game results involve genuine randomness. EK7 does not guarantee wins. No strategy removes the chance element from either game, particularly Teen Patti.

6. APK Distribution

EK7 is distributed as an APK outside the Google Play Store. Files from any site other than ek7game.me are not verified by EK7. Installing software from unverified sources is done at the player’s own risk.

7. Tax on Winnings

Winnings are subject to Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) under Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act — currently 30% on net winnings above ₹100 in a financial year. This is a statutory requirement, not a platform fee, and EK7 has no discretion to waive or reduce it.

8. Service Availability

EK7 does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the application or guarantee that the platform will be free of technical errors or downtime.
