How to Install EK7 APK on Android – Step by Step

The install itself is quick — under three minutes on most phones. What slows people down is the Unknown Sources permission. Android blocks APKs from outside the Play Store by default, and you need to enable that one setting before anything else works. Where it lives depends on your Android version, which is what this guide covers.

What You Need First

The EK7 APK file, downloaded from ek7game.me. And a phone on Android 5.0 or above — basically anything made after 2015 qualifies.

Haven’t downloaded yet? [Start at the main page →]. Avoid APK files from other sites. We can only support files that came from us.

Step 1: Find the Downloaded File

Pull down your notification bar. The completed download shows up there — tap it and the file opens directly. That’s the quickest way in.

If that notification is gone, open your Files app (Redmi and Samsung call it “My Files,” others call it “File Manager”), go to Downloads, and look for the EK7 APK.

Step 2: Deal with Unknown Sources

This is the step that looks scarier than it is.

On Android 8.0 and above — which is most phones sold in India since 2018 — you don’t need to dig through settings first. Just tap the APK file. Android will stop you and ask which app you want to grant install permission to. It’s referring to whichever app opened the file, usually your browser or file manager. Tap Allow, then Install on the next screen.

On Android 7 and below: Settings → Security → Unknown Sources → toggle on. Then go back and tap the APK.

One thing worth doing after EK7 is installed: go back and turn Unknown Sources off. That setting isn’t specific to EK7 — it applies to every APK on your phone. Better to limit it when you’re not actively installing something.

Step 3: Install

After permission is set, the standard Android install screen comes up. Tap Install. About 30 seconds. When it finishes you can open EK7 directly from the confirmation screen, or find the icon on your home screen.

Step 4: Register

New account — tap Register, enter your mobile number, OTP verification, done. The ₹500 welcome bonus hits your balance the moment verification clears.

Already registered — tap Login. [Trouble getting in? →]

When It Goes Wrong

Most installs work first try. When they don’t, it’s usually one of these:

“App not installed” — either not enough storage space or the APK file corrupted during download. Settings → Storage will tell you if space is the issue. If storage is fine, delete the file and re-download from ek7game.me. Fresh download fixes this most of the time.

“Parse error” — same fix. Delete, re-download. If the error comes back a second time, check Settings → About Phone and confirm you’re on Android 5.0 or above.

Play Protect warning — Google flags APKs from outside the Play Store automatically. It’s a blanket policy, not a finding specific to EK7. Tap Install anyway and it proceeds normally.

Install button is greyed out — Unknown Sources is either not enabled or was granted to the wrong app. Go back through Step 2. Make sure the permission went to your browser or file manager, not something else.

Chrome refused to download the file — Chrome adds an extra layer of friction for APK downloads sometimes. Either tap the three-dot menu → Downloads to find and open the file manually, or switch to Firefox. Firefox doesn’t add that friction.
